Telling you about a instrument – Guitar

A guitar is a stringed instrument, with a fretted fingerprint, typically incurved  sides, and six or twelve strings, played by plucking or strumming with fingers or plectrum.

When playing guitar it helps your brain, when playing guitar requires hand-eye coordination, creativity,  memory and other functions of the brain. Another common conclusion from one of the studies is that guitar players happen to be more intuitive then most and thus have exceptional skills.

The main purpose of the bridge on an acoustic guitar is to transfer the vibration from the strings to the soundboard, which vibrates the air inside of the guitar, thereby amplifying the sound produced by the strings. On all electric, acoustic and original guitars, the bridge holds the strings in place on the body.

My opinion about my school

Last Post of the week promise! My opinion about my school first is I love the canteen, sports rotations and modules they are really fun and the canteen is really yummy like the food is bomb! The things I learn in my class are fun and creative of how we learn things. ( thanks Ms May! ) The way I get taught is really creative and some what fair cause they are not hard but not super easy because I don’t know math’s that well but Ms May teach’s me things I don’t know then next minute I knew them cause of how Ms May taught me. Teachers are the whole point of our learning like how we learn new things they give us an example then we get easy questions then we learn from the examples and have to answer the questions then boom we learn something new! My school is really fun and deserves a lot of credit and awesome things for teaching us lots of new things and always lets us do things we don’t know that well, like I don’t know my factions that well like I suck but my teacher is trying her best well I think so but anyway she always try’s to get us better at the thing we are really bad at and I give her lots of credit towards my learning.

What I think my school is like = Awesome, cool and fun!

Things they teach students? = They teach students things that they don’t know that well or at all, and it’s great for learning like I have learnt new things fast and easy | simple answer = Awesome, great work

Do they respect the students? = Yes, of course!

Comparing other schools to mine.

Before I moved to New Zealand I lived in Fiji/Tavua which is where my other family members lived like cousins, aunties, uncles etc. My older sister Tita and my Mum used to go to school there so that’s why I’m comparing my school to theirs. For homework at my school it’s simple like others schools and for Fiji its the same you, they hand it out to you on Monday and have to bring it back in on Friday like us.

How much homework? = Not much they only had homework on Fridays

How much school work? = A lot since they didn’t have devices back then.

Hardest Subject? = Writing, because devices didn’t exist when my Mum went to school.

More differences like you don’t even know! But my family didn’t stay in Fiji that long so… Bye!

School Events!

Every year we get to do school events which is super fun but for some others their terrible! Some of our school events are Swimming Sports, Cross Country, Sports, Triathlon and also Athletics. All these events are really tiring but they are a good way to make us to excise and get fit. We also have tech, culture group and many more which are exciting to do. In our school we always try our best in any school events we do well at least I do. People might hate school like most of my classmates now that they joined and got to know it better & my teacher they liked it way better like a lot! I really enjoy the school events especially culture group, tech and really enjoyed triathlon and swimming sports but before that I didn’t really like swimming or running, biking etc, but now I really enjoy it!

Describing my school grounds.

My school grounds are huge! There is always something to do but if you don’t then I feel bad for you cause doing activities at my school are pretty fun, I would tell you the awesome events we do but I’m gonna write about that after cause I have to I guess… Being able to come to O.I.S and do the awesome things here that you wouldn’t be able to do able your primary school. I’n not really sure to do this and write about school grounds but eh. The field I gotta say is it’s huge! Like no kidding, we have three kinda courts, one is where most of the students hang out then the other two is where the trails for sports are normally.

What I do at break time.

When the bell goes for break time I put all my stuff away and start walking out the door since I don’t bring a lunch box to school I just grab my food then leave. My friends are normally by the canteen buying stuff or playing volleyball on the field or court. I enjoy playing volleyball but sometimes I get hit in the head or face which is annoying cause it hurts. After that we go back inside, then the bell rang for lunch time! We get let go from the lunch area to go to the other side of the school which is actually where all the students hang out. For the rest of the day it is not really exciting so that’s why I’m ending this writing piece.
